Potential health effects

WARNING! Causes eye and skin irritation. Vapors and mists are expected to cause upper respiratory tract irritation with coughing and nasal discharge. Vapors and mists may cause central nervous system depression with dizziness, drowsiness and incoordination. Harmful amounts may be absorbed through the skin. May be harmful or fatal if swallowed-potential aspiration hazard. Repeated or prolonged occupational exposure to solvents has been associated with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause skin allergic reactions and defatting of the skin (which can cause dermatitis). Personnel responding to a spill of this material should wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Fire Fighting Measures: Combustible liquid and vapor. Keep away from heat, sparks or open flames.
