Prevention

For dust generated from further processing or fumes generated from thermal decomposition: Wear protective gloves & clothing to avoid dust contact with skin, wear protective glasses to avoid dust contact with eyes, avoid breathing dust or fumes, process only when adequate ventilation and dust controls are in place.

Response

For dust generated from further processing or fumes generated from thermal decomposition: If on skin, wash thoroughly with water. If skin irritation persists, consult a physician. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before reuse. If in eyes, irrigate cautiously with flowing water for 15 minutes, remove contact lenses if easy to do. If eye irritation persists, consult a physician. If overcome by dust or fumes, remove to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Consult a physician if not breathing or feeling unwell. If dust becomes airborne, reduce levels below concentrations required to cause explosive conditions.
