Irritant Emergency Overview: Appearance: Yellow semi-circle or block insulation with coloring throughout to show that product is asbestos free. Odor: Odorless. Warning Statements This product presents no unusual hazards during normal use. However, cutting, sawing or abrading may increase personal exposure from particulates. Prolonged exposure may cause dermatitis. Eye irritation may be possible from extended exposure. Potential Adverse Health Effects: Eye Contact: Temporary irritation, itching or redness. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Skin Contact: Temporary irritation, itching or redness. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. Ingestion: The product is not designed to ingested, may cause irritation to gastrointestinal tract. Inhalation: Particles if inhaled may cause irritation to nasal and respiratory passages. Remove to fresh air. If breathing difficult, seek medical attention immediately. This product may contain trace amounts of crystalline silica (quartz) as a natural contaminate in the raw materials. However, standard industrial monitoring surveys conducted under normal and test (worst- case) situations have not detected any reportable crystalline silica in the respirable dust in the occupational environment.
