OSHA The hazards identified with this product are those associated with < 0.1% sodium azide. Sodium azide may be toxic if swallowed. Harmful to aquatic organisms, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Sodium azide reacts with many heavy metals including copper and lead and can form explosive compounds. May be harmful by inhalation, ingestion or skin absorption. It may cause eye irritation and skin irritation. May affect nerves and heart. Exposure may cause nausea, headache and vomiting.
