Potential health effects
EYE Dust may irritate the eyes. INGESTION Ingestion generally causes purging of the bowels. Swallowing large amount may lead to bowel obstruction. INHALATION Dust may irritate nasal passages. Dust can cause mechanical irritation of the respiratory tract. Inhalation of freshly generated magnesium oxide fume may result in metal fume fever.
