Potential health effects

EYES: CORROSIVE: Exposure to this material causes severe burns resulting in eye damage and possibly blindness. SKIN CONTACT CORROSIVE Contact produces severe burns and destroys tissues. Irritation may be delayed SKIN ABSORPTION: Material is essentially non-toxic by this route. INGESTION: Swallowing this product may be extremely harmful. Symptoms may include severe stomach and intestinal irritation (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), abdominal pain, and vomiting of blood. This product may cause burns and destroy tissue in the mouth, throat, and digestive tract. INHALATION: Inhalation or breathing of mists may cause erosion of dental surfaces or irritation to the upper respiratory tract and the lung tissue which could produce pneumonia depending on the severity of exposure. Symptoms may include cough, discomfort, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath. modest initial symptoms may be followed after up to several hours by severe shortness of breath, requiring prompt medical attention.
