Principle Routes of Exposure
Skin, Inhalation, Eyes Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Inhalation: Breathing high concentrations may be harmful. Mist or vapor can irritate throat and lungs. May cause central nervous system effects with nausea, dizziness, fatigue and headache. Breathing high concentrations in an enclosed space can cause irregular heartbeat. NOTE to Physician: Overexposure can produce toxic effects. Monitor for respiratory distress. Skin contact: May cause mild skin irritation with redness and/or itching feeling. Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause drying and cracking of the skin. May be absorbed through skin. Eye contact: Can cause eye irritation with tearing, redness or burning feeling. Effects may be greater with prolonged exposure. Ingestion: Swallowing this material could be harmful. Central nervous system depression, including dizziness, drowsiness, fatigue, nausea, headache, unconsciousness. Existing Conditions Aggravated by Exposure: Eye, skin, and respiratory disorders.
