2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
N/A Adverse environmental and human health effects: Eyes: Dust contact with the eyes can lead to mechanical irritation. Elevated temperatures may generate vapor levels sufficient to cause eye irritation. Effects may include discomfort and redness. Skin: Prolonged contact is essentially non-irritating. Contact with dust can cause mechanical irritation or drying of the skin. Contact with hot product will cause thermal burns. Inhalation: No adverse effects are anticipated from single exposure to dust. Inhalation of vapors in high concentration may cause irritation of respiratory system. Ingestion: Low acute oral toxicity. Harmful effects not expected for swallowing small amounts. May cause choking is swallowed.
