Other hazards which do not result in classification
May form combustible dust - air mixtures. Fine dust dispersed in air may ignite. At higher temperatures decomposition will take place and lower the quality of the product. Exposure to decomposition products may cause a health hazard. Heating above the decomposition temperature will release acrylic monomers. At high concentrations the monomer vapours can cause eye and nose irritation. Monomer vapours may cause central nervous system effects, ranging from dizziness and nausea to unconsciousness. Decomposition monomers may cause skin sensitization by skin contact. Prolonged or repeated contact with decomposition monomers may cause allergic contact dermatitis symptoms such as swelling, rash and eczema. Prolonged or repeated exposure to monomer vapours could also cause liver and kidney effects. Environmental precautions: Avoid release to the environment. PBT assessment: This preparation contains no substance considered to be persistent, bioaccumulating nor toxic (PBT).
