2.3 Other hazards
The vapour of the product is heavier than air and may accumulate below ground level, in pits, channels and basements in higher concentration. The thermal decomposition vapors of fluorinated polymers may cause polymer fume fever with flu-like symptoms in humans, especially when smoking contaminated tobacco.
