SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Flammable and harmful bitumen based coating preparation in white spirit solvent. Inhalation: Acute effects of over exposure to solvent vapour include light headedness, dizziness, nausea, drowsiness and unconsciousness on extreme over exposure. Skin : Frequent/prolonged contact may cause irration or dermatitis. Aromatic oils released from bitumen by solvent action are a potential long term hazard. Eyes : May cause temporary irritation and discomfort. Ingestion : Nausea sickness and discomfort accentuated by evaporation of solvent with symptoms of solvent vapour over exposure. Serious danger of aspiration into lungs.
