Potential health effects
Inhalation: One should avoid high levels of dust (levels in excess of OSHA PEL or if irritation occurs). In the event of a high dust level, an NIOSH approved disposable dust respirator, properly fitted, should be used. Skin Contact: A loose fitting, long sleeved cotton shirt, long cotton pants and gloves are recommended to avoid the potential of skin irritation. Eye Contact: Dust may cause stinging, redness or swelling. Ingestion: These products are not intended to be ingested (eaten). In the event of accidental ingestion, short term irritation of the gastrointestinal tract (mouth, throat, stomach, small and large intestines) may occur.
