Hazards Information Emergency Overview DANGER! POISON! FLAMMABLE LIQUID AND VAPOR. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. CANNOT BE MADE NONPOISONOUS DUE TO METHANOL CONTENT. HARMFUL IF INHALED OR ABSORBED THROUGH SKIN. CAUSES IRRITATION TO SKIN, EYES AND RESPIRATORY TRACT. AFFECTS CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM AND LIVER IF SWALLOWED. Potential Health Effects Inhalation: Causes irritation to the nose, throat and respiratory tract. Concentrations above the permissible exposure limits (PEL) may cause drowsiness, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and inability to concentrate. Ingestion: Causes headache gastritis, intoxication and in large quantities, blindness or death. Skin Contact: Causes irritation to skin, cracking or flaking due to dehydration and defatting. Eye Contact: Can cause eye irritation. Splashes may cause temporary pain and blurred vision. Chronic Exposure: Prolonged contact causes irritation to skin and cracking or flaking. May affect the central nervous system and internal organs. Continued ingestion of small amounts can cause blindness. Aggravation of Pre-existing Conditions: Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or eye problems or impaired liver or kidney functions may be more susceptible to the effects of this product.
