Hazard statements

It irritates the skin, eyes, nose, throat, etc. by contact and inhalation. Active Carbon is stipulated by the "Dust Hazard Prevention Regulations" and may cause damage if it is worked for a long time at a dust concent ration higher than the allowable dust concentration. Active Carbon has the property of adsorbing oxygen in the air (especially in a wet state), and when handled in large quantities in a closed place, it may cause an oxygen deficiency state.

Highly flammable if powdered. Combustible depending on physical form. May cause skin, eye, nose and throat irritation by contacting or inhalation. Particularly in wet state, active carbon is adsorbing atmospheric oxygen and may lead to hypoxia with treating large quantity in closed or sealed area. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with all applicable regulations.
