Vapor causes eye burns and skin irritation.
Potential health effects
SKIN: Skin contact can cause redness, dryness or rash. Prolonged contact can cause irritation, dry skin, cracks and dermatitis. INGESTION: Ingestion may cause vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and gastrointestinal irritation. INHALATION: Breathing of high vapor concentrations may produce narcosis. Eye contact can cause irritation, redness, tearing and blurred vision. Skin contact can cause redness, dryness or rash. Prolonged contact can cause irritation, dry skin, cracks and dermatitis. Ingestion may cause vomiting, nausea, diarrhea and gastrointestinal irritation. Vapor harmful. May affect the brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headache or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose and throat irritation. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin. Reports have associated repeated and prolonged occupational overexposure to solvents with permanent brain and nervous system damage. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal.
