Principle Routes of Exposure
Corrosive to skin Mists/aerosols may cause irritation to upper respiratory tract. May cause gastrointestinal irritation with possible nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort and diarrhea. Small amounts aspirated during ingestion or vomiting may cause lung injury, possibly leading to death. Signs and symptoms Causes severe irritation, burns or tissue ulceration with subsequent scarring.
