SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Synthetic rubber is considered non-hazardous under normal temperature conditions. At temperatures in excess of 100oC, degradation with the accompanying release of hazardous fumes may occur. Synthetic rubber is not associated with type I allergic reactions; however the processing additives may give rise to type IV allergic reactions or irritant contact dermatitis.
