SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Emergency Overview: CAUTION! This material may cause transient skin and eye irritation. Burning material emits highly toxic vapors. Contains Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) which may contain trace amounts of Vinyl Chloride Monomer - Suspect Carcinogen. Eye Contact: May cause mild eye irritation. Mild Eye Irritation: signs/symptoms can include redness, swelling, pain and tearing. Skin Contact: May cause mild skin irritation. Mild Skin Irritation (after prolonged or repeated contact): sign/symptoms can include redness, swelling and itching. Inhalation: Nota hazard at normal temperatures. Vapors released at processing temperatures may cause mild respiratory tract irritation. Ingestion: Practically non-toxic if swallowed. May act as obstruction if swallowed.
