SECTION 2: Hazards identification
This material is not considered to be hazardous according to regulatory guidelines (see (M)SDS Section 15). POTENTIAL PHYSICAL / CHEMICAL EFFECTS WARNING May form combustible dust concentrations in air (during processing/handling). Spilled pellets present a slipping hazard on hard surfaces. Contact with hot material can cause thermal burns which may result in permanent damage. Material can accumulate static charges which may cause an ignition.
Potential health effects
If dust is generated, it could scratch the eyes and cause minor irritation to the respiratory tract. No adverse effects due to inhalation are expected. When heated, the vapors/fumes given off may cause respiratory tract irritation.
