High-pressure injection under skin may cause serious damage. Excessive exposure may result in eye, skin, or respiratory irritation. Inhalation of vapors from thermally decomposed Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) may cause polymer fume fever which produces flu-like symptoms. Secondary amines or materials containing secondary amines should not be added to this product due to the risk of forming nitrosamines, some of which have been shown to be carcinogenic in lab animals.
