Hazard statements
Flammable liquid and vapor. Harmful if inhaled. Causes skin irritation. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May cause cancer. Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects.
Prevention
Obtain special instructions before use. Do not handle until all safety precautions have been read and understood. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof electrical, ventilating and lighting equipment. Use non-sparking tools. Take action to prevent static discharges. Avoid breathing dust/fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Avoid release to the environment. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Use personal protective equipment as required. [In case of inadequate ventilation] wear respiratory protection.
Response
IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water [or shower]. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. Specific treatment (see supplemental first aid instructions on this label). IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician. IF exposed or concerned: Get medical advice/attention. In case of fire: Use dry sand, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam for extinction.
Storage
