2.3 Other hazards
Prolonged/repeated skin exposures can result in dermatitis. Inhaling mists/sprays of material is corrosive to respiratory tract and may cause pulmonary edema (shortness of breath and tightness of chest). Corrosive to digestive tract. Ingestion may cause severe pain, burning, vomiting and diarrhea. Lung aspiration may result in chemical pneumonitis, pulmonary edema, damage to lung tissue, and in extreme cases death.
