Skin: Brief contact is not irritating. Prolonged contact may cause reddening, itchiness, a burning sensation and possible drying and flaking of the skin. Eyes: Causes moderate to severe irritation, experienced as discomfort or pain, excess blinking and tear production, with marked excess redness and swelling of the conjunctiva. Corneal injury may occur. Iritis may occur. Inhalation: No adverse effects. Ingestion: Low toxicity; may cause nausea.
