Product definition
This product comes in two forms, a dark brown-colored, dry powder and a dark brown-colored, slurry or malleable cake.
Health hazards
Inhalation of dusts from either form of the product may cause irritation of the respiratory tract, nose and throat. Eye contact may cause mechanical irritation. Accidental ingestion may cause digestive tract irritation and up-set. Flammability Hazards: This product can be ignited if subjected to temperature above 366°C (690°F). As an organic compound, finely-divided dusts from the product can present a serious air/dust explosion hazard. Reactivity Hazards: This product is not reactive.
Environmental hazards
This product poses minimal environmental hazards; however, all accidental or intentional release to the environment should be avoided. Emergency Recommendations: Emergency responders must wear the personal protective equipment (and have fire protection) suitable for the situation to which they are responding.
