SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Emergency Overview: Contains Hexavalent Chromium compound, which is a known carcinogen. May cause irritation to eyes and skin. Wash areas of contact with plenty of water. If ingested, dilute with water and induce vomiting. Call a physician. Target Organs: eyes, skin, respiratory system, blood, liver, kidneys. Eye Contact: May cause irritation, redness, pain, and tearing. Inhalation: Dust may irritate upper respiratory tract, symptoms may include coughing, sore throat and shortness of breath. Skin Contact: May cause irritation, redness, and pain. Ingestion: May cause gastroenteritis, severe circulatory collapse, chronic nephritis, and a possibility for liver damage.
