Principle Routes of Exposure
Skin and eye contact, ingestion and inhalation. Skin Contact: Mild irritation, redness and swelling of the skin. Eye Contact: Severe eye irritation, watering, and redness. Ingestion Severe irritations, burns, perforation of the gastrointestinal tract accompanied by shock. Nausea, vomiting (bloody), abdominal cramps and diarrhea (bloody). Inhalation: Nose and throat irritation. In case of repeated or prolonged exposure; risk of sore throat, nose bleeds, chronic bronchitis. Long term effects: Sodium Fluorosilicate can irritate the lungs. Repeated exposure may cause bronchitis to develop with cough, phlegm, and/or shortness of breath.
