Prevention
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep away from clothing and other combustible materials. Wear protective gloves/ protective clothing/ eye protection/ face protection/ hearing protection.
Response
In case of fire: Use dry sand, dry chemical or alcohol-resistant foam to extinguish. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/ physician.
Disposal
Dispose of contents/ container to an approved waste disposal plant.
2.3 Other hazards
Mixing this product with acid or ammonia releases chlorine gas. Do not mix with bleach or other chlorinated products – will cause chlorine gas.
