Inhalation : Irritating to respiratory system. Serious effects may be delayed following exposure. Ingestion : May cause burns to mouth, throat and stomach. Ingestion of large amounts may cause poisoning. Symptoms include: methemoglobinemia, cyanosis (blue skin), marked fall in blood pressure, leading to collapse, coma and possibly death. Skin : Corrosive to the skin. Causes burns. Eyes : Corrosive to eyes. Causes burns. Potential chronic health effects
