Eyes Irritation. Corneal damage. Skin May cause skin irritation and/or dermatitis. Repeated or prolonged skin contact may cause allergic reactions with susceptible persons. May cause more severe response if skin is damp or abraded, or if material is confined to skin. Extreme overexposure may cause. Chemical burns. Inhalation Dust may cause irritation of the respiratory system. May cause irritation to the mucous membranes. May cause irritation of the nose and throat. Respirable Crystalline Silica, ( Quartz) can cause silicosis, a fibrous scarring of the lungs and possibly cancer . Prolonged overexposure may cause. Shortness of breath. Asthma- like symptoms .
