(29 CFR 1910.1200) Emergency Overview: Danger, Corrosive! Hazards to Humans and Domestic Animals. Danger: Corrosive, Causes irreversible eye damage and skin burns. May be fatal if swallowed, absorbed through the skin, or inhaled. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed. Wear face shield or goggles, protective clothing and rubber gloves when handling.Inhalation: Dust may cause respiratory irritation. Ingestion: Mildly toxic if swallowed. Swallowing may cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Skin Contact: Contact with skin can may irritation in sensitive individuals. Eye Contact: Causes severe irritation to eyes on contact. Left untreated, eye contact with this product may cause burns, blindness or permanent eye damage. Chronic Exposure: Prolonged contact with skin may cause irritation, drying or dermatitis. Aggravation of Pre-existing Conditions: Persons with pre-existing skin disorders or eye problems or impaired respiratory function may be more susceptible to the effects of the substance.
