EMERGENCY OVERVIEW DANGER. CORROSIVE TO EYES. CAUSES EYE BURNS. MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC SKIN REACTION . CAUSES SKIN IRRITATION. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF SWALLOWED. HARMFUL OR FATAL IF INHALED . MAY CAUSE ALLERGIC RESPIRATORY REACTION . USE ONLY IN WELL-VENTILATED AREAS.
Principle Routes of Exposure
Eye contact. Skin contact. Inhalation. Ingestion. Eye contact: Corrosive. Causes permanent eye damage, including blindness. Skin contact: Moderately irritating to the skin. Inhalation: May cause irritation and corrosive effects to nose, throat and respiratory tract. Exposure above the occupational health limits may cause shortness of breath and reduced lung function . Persons with pre-existing, nonspecific bronchial hyperreactivity can respond to concentrations below the occupational exposure limits with similar symptoms as well as asthma episodes . Ingestion: Corrosive. Causes burns to mouth, throat and stomach.
