Potential health effects
FROM ACUTE AND CHRONIC EXPOSURE Inhalation: Inhalation of this material may cause respiratory irritation and can be prevented by wearing proper respiratory equipment. Inhalation of high concentrations may cause central nervous system depression – characterized by headache, nausea, and/or vertigo. Though single exposure to fumes may cause no harmful effects, repeated daily exposures may cause illness. Contact with Skin or Eyes: Due to the colorant components, skin contact will cause discoloration of the skin and may be removed by washing. Contact with the eyes will cause irritation. Ingestion: Ingestion of this material may cause irritation of the upper gastrointestinal tract, which can cause difficulty in swallowing. Ingestion may also result in similar effects to those caused by inhalation.
