Kathon CG is a mixture in the ratio 3 1 of 5-chloro-2methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (Methylchloroisothiazolinone; CMI) and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one (Methylisothiazolinone; MI).
