Warning May affect the Central Nervous System (CNS), causing dizziness, headache, or nausea. May be harmful if inhaled. Vapors may cause drowsiness and dizziness. Irritating to the eyes. Signs and symptoms of irritation include burning sensateion, redness, swelling, and/or blurred vision.

Potential health effects

EYE: Moderately irritating. SKIN: Unlikely to cause skin irritation or injury. Passage of this material into the body through the skin is possible, but it is unlikely that this would cause a harmful effect during safe handling and use. INGESTION: Very low toxicity if swallowed. Small amounts swallowed incidentally as a result of normal handling operations are not likely to cause injury; however, swallowing larger amounts may cause injury. Ingestion may lead to drunkeness, dizziness, and in severe cases alcohol poisoning. INHALATION: Prolonged inhalation may result in respiratory irritation. Under normal conditions, using adequate ventilation no problems are expected If inhaled in sufficient quantity, may cause temporary irritation to respiratory tract, coughing and shortness of breath. Prolonged inhaling may affect breathing capacity. CHRONIC (CANCER) INFORMATION: Not listed by IARC or NTP as a carcinogen. TERATOLOGY (BIRTH DEFECT) INFORMATION: Not classified as a teratogen. REPRODUCTION INFORMATION: This material contains a substance that has been shown to cause harm to the fetus of laboratory animals. Harm to the fetus occurs only at exposure levels that harm the pregnant animal. The relevance of these findings to humans is uncertain.
