SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Danger Corrosive. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. May cause corrosive burns-irreversable damage to nasal passages, esophagas and airways. Harmful if inhaled. Corrosive to digestive tract. Very hazardous in case of skin contact (irritant to corrosive), of eye contact (irritant to corrosive), of ingestion. Hazardous in case of inhalation. Corrosive burns, redness, watering and itching characterize inflammation of the eye. Skin inflamation is characterized by itching, scaling, reddening, or, blistering. While this material has a low level of toxicity, good industrial hygiene practices are encouraged to minimize exposure.
