ACUTE EFFECTS: EYE: May cause moderate eye irritation and moderate corneal injury. SKIN: Prolonged contact may cause irritation, defatting of the skin. INHALATION: May cause nose and throat irritation. May cause nervous system depression characterized by the following progressive steps: headache, dizziness, nausea, staggering gait, confusion, unconsciousness. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal. INGESTION: If aspirated into lungs, it may be rapidly absorbed through the lungs and result in injury to other body systems; gastro-intestinal distress.
