ACUTE EFFECTS: EYE: May cause mild irritation. Heating product may produce vapors that are irritating to the eyes. SKIN: Prolonged or frequent contact may cause irritation or dermatitis. Symptoms may include redness, edema, drying and cracking of the skin. INHALATION: High vapor/aerosol concentrations (attainable at elevated temperatures well above ambient) are irritating to the respiratory tract, and may cause headaches, dizziness, anesthesia, drowsiness, unconsciousness, and other central nervous system effects, including death. INGESTION: The major hazard is aspiration of the liquid into the lungs during swallowing or vomiting. This may result in chemical pneumonia.
