Data - Effects of overexposure Eye Contact The dry powder may cause irritation in some individuals. Solutions are non-irritating. Skin Contact Prolonged contact with the dry powder may cause drying or chapping of the skin. No evidence of other adverse effects from available information. Inhalation No evidence of adverse effects from available information. However, excessive inhalation of dust may be annoying, and can mechanically impede respiration, due to the hygroscopic properties of the gum, i.e. it can form a paste or gel in the airway. Ingestion No evidence of adverse effects from available information.
