Prevention

Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Keep container tightly closed. Ground and bond container and receiving equipment. Use explosion-proof equipment. Use only non-sparking tools. Wash face, hands and any exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. Avoid breathing fume/gas/mist/vapors/spray. Contaminated work clothing must not be allowed out of the workplace.

Response

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a poison center or doctor. IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. If skin irritation or rash occurs: Get medical advice/attention. If swallowed: Immediately call a poison center or doctor for medical advice. In case of fire: Use dry chemical, CO2, or Halon for extinction.

Storage

Store in a well-ventilated place. Keep cool.
