SECTION 2: Hazards identification
This alloy is not regarded as being hazardous when subjected to normal usage. Users should note that occupational exposure control standards exist for some of the components (see paragraph 8) and should remain aware of the need to monitor exposure if powder or fume is produced. If this alloy is heated until molten there is a risk of the production of fumes particularly zinc or zinc oxide. Exposure to such fumes can cause "metal fume fever" with symptoms of chills, fever, coughing and tightness of the chest.
