2.3 Other hazards
On the basis of available data, the product does not contain any PBT or vPvB in percentage greater than 0,1%. Depending on process or use (e.g. grinding, drying), respirable crystalline silica (quartz - cristobalite) may disperse in air. Prolonged and/or substantial inhalation of dust of respirable crystalline silica may cause pulmonary fibrosis, commonly called silicosis. Main symptoms of silicosis are cough and dyspnoea. Professional exposure to dust of respirable crystalline silica must be monitored and controlled.
