SECTION 2: Hazards identification
Overview: This product is not classified as hazardous. Fibre dust and fibre fly may represent a fire hazard at sufficient concentrations. Prolonged exposure to fibres and dust may cause irritation of skin and/or respiratory tract. The material is heated and melted during moulding processes. Contact with hot material can cause burns to skin, and fumes produced during heating can cause irritation of eyes and respiratory tract and dizziness.

Eyes: Fibres and dusts may be mechanically irrirating when in contact with eyes. Fumes produced during heating can cause irritation of eyes. Skin: Prolonged exposure to fibres and dusts may be mechanically irrirating to skin. Contact with hot material can cause burns to skin. Inhalation: Excessive exposure to airborne fibres and fibre dusts may cause irritation of respiratory tract. Fumes produced during heating can cause irritation of respiratory tract and dizziness. Ingestion: Although ingestion of this product is not likely to occur, accidental ingestion may cause nausea, vomiting or irritation of the mouth and gastrointestinal tract.
