SECTION 2: Hazards identification
THRESHOLD LIMIT VALUE: n.a. EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE: Avoid eye and skin contact. Product may be slightly irritating to eyes upon direct contact. Product is non-irritating to skin upon direct contact but prolonged or repeated exposure may result in dermatitis which makes the skin more susceptible to other irritants. There is a Threshold Limit value (TLV) for oil mist of 5 mg/m3. Product is not expected to present an inhalation hazard. However, caution should be taken to prevent aerosolization or misting. Do not ingest. Ingestion of small quantities is usually not fatal unless aspiration occurs. Aspiration may lead to chemical pneumonitis which is characterized by pulmonary edema and hemorrhage, and may be fatal. __________________________________________________________________________________________________
