EYE: CORROSIVE, CONTACT CAUSES SEVERE EYE BURNS WHICH MAY RESULT IN PERMANENT TISSUE AND CORNEAL DAMAGE. SKIN: CORROSIVE CAUSES SKIN BURNS AND SEVERE IRRITATION. TOXIC BY SKIN CONTACT. INGESTION: TOXIC BY INGESTION. WILL REACT RAPIDLY WITH MOISTURE WITH EVOLUTION OF HEAT AND FORMATION OF CORROSIVE SODIUM SALTS AND HYDROGEN GAS. RISK OF SERIOUS INTERNAL BURNS IF INGESTED. INHALATION: CORROSIVE. DUST IS STRONGLY IRRITATING TO THE RESPIRATORY TRACT.
