The same serious injury can occur if wet or moist skin or eyes have prolonged contact exposure to dry Portland Cement. Dust created when the cured product is cut, grinded or machined may contain crystalline silica, some of which may be respirable. Repeated exposure to respirable crystalline silica dust may cause lung fibrosis (silicosis) and lung cancer.
