2.1 Classification of the substance or mixture
An aqueous nutrient solution containing Dimethyl Sulfoxide (DMSO) at approximately 10% concentration, and other inert, non-hazardous cryoprotective ingredients.
2.2 Label elements
Undiluted DMSO is a combustible liquid (H227). Protective clothing including gloves, eye protection, face protection is required (H280)
2.3 Other hazards
DMSO is readily absorbed through the skin. Has the potential to carry toxic materials into the body. May be harmful by inhalation, ingestion or skin absorption. Hazards not covered by GHS: This product contains raw material of human/animal source. The cells in this product have been tested using approved and found negative for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV 1.
