Potential health effects
BY ROUTE OF ENTRY EYES: Extremely corrosive. Can penetrate deeply causing irritation or severe burns depending on the duration of the exposure. In severe cases, ulceration and permanent blindness may occur. SKIN: Capable of causing severe burns. INHALATION: Inhalation of high airborne concentrations may cause irritation of the nose and throat. INGESTION: Ingestion of large amounts may cause nausea, vomiting, difficulty in breathing and diarrhea.
