SECTION 2: Hazards identification
EC) No 1272/2008 This product does not meet the criteria for classification in any hazard class according to regulation EC No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging of substances. The article, made by solid PTFE polymer, has never shown risks for the human health and for the environment at ambient temperature. If the article is at temperatures higher than 260°C decomposition products (CO2, CO, HF and COF2) may be emitted. The melting point is 327°C. Very intensive thermal decomposition starts at 415 °C. Avoid smoking when handling PTFE products.
