The solid PTFE polymer has never evidenced risks for the human health nor for the environment • Risks present themselves when the product is brought to temperature above 400°C which starts the emission of toxic compounds () which are not immediately visible but are extremely corrosive and can cause serious burns. In case of fire the product releases CO, CO2, HF, COF2 trace of other oxides and gases.
