Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. May cause allergy or asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. Causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
Prevention
Wear protective gloves > 8 hours (breakthrough time) butyl rubber. Wear protective clothing. Wear eye or face protection Recommended safety glasses with side-shields Wear respiratory protection. Do not breathe vapor. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash thoroughly after handling.
Response
IF INHALED: Remove person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: Call a POISON CENTER or doctor. IF SWALLOWED: Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor.
